Limitations on Encryption Equipment:
Export Restrictions:
All CopyTele products are approved by the U.S. Department of Commerce for export without a
license to all countries except, Syria , Libya, Sudan, Iran, Iraq, Cuba, and North Korea.
No Return Policy:
Most products sold by Outfitter Satellite can be returned in good and merchantable condition within 30 days of order for a 20% restocking
fee.
However, for our customer's security, we cannot resell used encryption equipment unless it has been re-validated at the original equipment
manufacturer.
For this reason, all encryption equipment is considered a custom order and is not returnable.
Unless otherwise specified, all new equipment includes a 1 year warranty.
Encryption Algorithms:
To be compatible, the same encryption algorithm must be used on all encryption units that intercommunicate.
It is only possible to have one algorithm resident on a unit at a time.
It is normally possible to change the algorithm used on a given unit for a small fee, but this requires returning it to the original equipment
manufacturer.
Harris CitadelTM CCX 128-bit encryption is standard on all units, unless otherwise specified.
Upon request and for a small additional charge, several other encryption algorithms are available. including 168-bit Triple DES.
